Sproton Layer

Roger Miller cofounded fabled '80s Boston combo Mission of Burma, famed for its bracing blend of cerebral experimentation and punk-derived aggression and recently(ish) reunited. Tonight he takes his first band, Sproton Layer, for a live outing; the writer Michael Azerrad described the psychedelic rockers as "an amazing band that sounded like Syd Barrett fronting Cream."
