Local ska outfit the Slackers sprinkles its laid-back, syncopated grooves with plenty of humor and soul, successfully avoiding much of the cheesiness of its genre’s ’90s revival. Tonight the band is celebrating the release of a new album, The Great Rocksteady Swindle.
