Todd Sickafoose's Tiny Resistors

Bassist-composer Todd Sickafoose's recent Cryptogramophone CD Tiny Resistors features two big-name guests in whistling fiddler Andrew Bird and righteous babe Ani DiFranco (who has frequently put Sickafoose to use in her own projects). Neither is expected here this evening, but the leader's music is so lively, detailed and crammed with character that you won't even notice they're missing.
