Yes + Procol Harum

A not-so-funny thing happened on the way to veteran art-rock band Yes getting around to touring for Fly from Here, a wholly respectable 2011 studio album: Benoît David, the tribute-band singer hired to replace wizened choirboy Jon Anderson, came crashing back down to earth, a victim of vocal strain. But remaining members Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White and Geoff Downes have soldiered on with an even more proficient tribute-band vocalist, Jon Davison. As for seasoned U.K. combo Procol Harum, only singer-pianist Gary Brooker remains from the original performing lineup—good enough for "A Whiter Shade of Pale," certainly.
