With wooden features, neutral furnishings and warm lighting, Amylos is a New York spot with a smart casual vibe. Located amongst one of city’s largest Greek communities, Astoria, the restaurant serves up a modern take of traditional Greek fare.
There are five different menus; brunch, bottomless brunch, lunch, dinner, and dessert and coffee. Bottomless brunch includes unlimited food and champagne cocktails for $22 per person. As for the food (specifically on the dinner menu) there are raw dishes including jumbo shrimp cocktail ($15), small plates such as kolokithokeftedes (zucchini fritters – $13), salads, pasta and more. There is also a rotisserie station, wide selection of seafood and farm-to-table sides.
The venue also has an event space that can accommodate up to 150 people and can be used for smaller gatherings, too.
