XyZ Pintxos y Botanas (CLOSED)

XyZ Pintxos y Botanas is a new partnership between Chef Javier Ortega and entrepreneur Maricruz Rosas, that brings their two families together to recreate the comforts of eating at home amongst friends. In the heart of the East Village of New York City, the casual and convivial dining experience of XyZ will remind visitors of the pintxo and cider bars in Donostia, San Sebastian, as well as The New Basque Cuisine that have inspired Chef Ortega.
Set in the warm and intimate atmosphere designed by contemporary artist, Ray Smith, husband of Ms. Rosas, the proprietors have chosen to focus on evolving something unique that fuses the creative aspects of food and art.
