Founded in Montreal in 2002, women’s activewear label Lolë has quickly expanded beyond its four stores in Canada to open two in Europe and this New York flagship in the United States.Lolë, which stands for “live out loud every day,” aims to create a space where fashion and social media intertwine (like Lolë on Facebook to get info on its free weekly fitness classes, which include healthy snacks). The outdoor-influenced space is a replica of its sister stores’ decor: Penciled cacti adorn the windows, stools resemble tree trunks, and wooden clothing racks display many of the versatile pieces. Nab fitness essentials such as organic-cotton sleeveless racerback tanks ($30) and quick-drying yoga pants ($70), then round out your winter wardrobe with quilted three-quarter-length jackets ($320), slouchy knitted beanies featuring earflaps ($30) and knitted mittens ($30).
