Each Saturday, dozens of local vendors hawk food ($2–$15), jewelry ($5–$50) and art ($20–$190) inside the historic Standard Motor Parks building in Long Island City. In the 4,000-square-foot space, you’ll find handmade goods such as Ely & Road reclaimed-wood side tables ($185) and Wonder Lee funky scrabble bowties ($30) that can be customized with up to six letters. Snack on Vine and Ice artisanal ice cream ($4), including a movie-night flavor that mixes a buttered-popcorn base with toasted raisins and dark-chocolate flakes. Don’t leave without visiting Brooklyn Grange, a rooftop farm above the market that shoppers can tour for free during their trip (11am–3pm).
