House Pride Nights are returning to Broadway’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Running for four consecutive Wednesday evenings this winter—February 28, March 6, March 13 and March 20—devoted theatergoers from each Hogwarts house will have the chance to attend Broadway’s record-breaking play for individual nights of inclusive, magical celebration.

This competition has closed. Please see terms and conditions.

So, listen up, Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, Slytherins and Ravenclaws! Dust off your finest robes, dig out those wands and brush up on your wizarding world knowledge. Before each of the four dedicated performances, the most die-hard fans will go head-to-head in house-themed trivia, strut their cosplay for a step-and-repeat photo to remember, and embrace the community that makes the fandom truly diverse.

Live on Broadway eight times a week, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the official “8th Harry Potter story,” picking up where the book series left off—19 years after Harry, Ron and Hermione saved the wizarding world. Now, an unlikely pair of new best friends, Albus Potter and Scorpius Malfoy, must battle against Dementors and time itself to save the world yet again.

With award-winning productions playing around the globe in London, Hamburg and Tokyo—and a North American Tour launching in Chicago in September 2024—New York’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child holds the record for highest weekly ticket sales for a Broadway play. So stop sitting there, book your tickets for this year's House Pride events now!

And the magic doesn’t just start at the show. Whichever Hogwarts House you are, we’ve got a few tips on how to conjure up the most bewitching day in NYC that’ll leave you saying, “Wizzo!”

GRYFFINDOR

For the thrill-seeking Gryffindor, a full day of new heights might just be the spell. Kick off the day at Brooklyn Boulders, the borough’s most notable indoor rock climbing gym, where the adventurous at heart put their nerve to the test. And once that adrenaline is pumping, head back into Manhattan to visit The Edge, the highest outdoor sky deck in the western hemisphere with 360-degree views of NYC (and a glass floor). This one-of-a-kind experience will leave you flying higher than Harry’s Firebolt. But remember, as Professor McGonagall warns, “Bravery doesn’t forgive stupidity.” So before you do anything too daring, Gryffindor, head downstairs to Hudson Yards to cool off with a pre-show dinner from any of the gourmet, world-renowned restaurants, like Electric Lemon, Estiatorio Milos, and Mercado Little Spain.

HUFFLEPUFF

The quickest way to a Hufflepuff’s heart is nature and food, and the Bronx is just the borough to make that happen. A short train ride on the Metro-North Railroad’s Harlem line will put you at the entrance of any herbology lover’s verdant daydream, the New York Botanical Garden. Over 133 years old and sprawling across 250 acres of land, the NYBG is home to over one million living plants as well as the world’s largest collection of botany-related texts. And once your hard-working Hufflepuff has worked up an appetite, just a short 20-minute walk away lies the famous Arthur Ave., A.K.A. Bronx Little Italy. For some of the most authentic Italian culture and cuisine NYC has to offer, look no further than Pugsley Pizza, Mario’s Restaurant and Egidio Pastry Shop.

SLYTHERIN

Hey, Slytherin. Large, loud crowds might not be your thing, and we respect that. So we have the perfect, day-long experience that will absolutely—as Professor Snape once said—“bewitch the mind and ensnare the senses.” Hidden away in the quiet greenery of Governors Island lies the QC NY Spa. Only a 5-minute ferry ride from downtown Manhattan, this peaceful oasis is NYC’s only year-round, outdoor panoramic spa. Featuring over 20 “reinvigorating wellness experiences,” you can swap out your school robe for an enormous, fluffy one while pampering yourself in a number of ways: tailored massages, underwater music spa pools, relaxation rooms, steam baths and Vichy showers. And before you head back to Times Square, the Wellness Bistro and Flora Cafè await to reinvigorate your taste buds as much as your soul.

RAVENCLAW

Every Ravenclaw knows there’s only one NYC institution that lives up to the house motto—“Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure”—and that’s the New-York Historical Society. Founded as New York’s first museum in 1804, the NYHS has spent the last 220 years preserving and archiving over 400 years of history, all on display for those in pursuit of knowledge. With current exhibitions ranging from 19th-century Hudson River School painting to a gallery of 100 illuminated Tiffany lamps to a detailed re-creation of the White House Oval Office, you’ll be charmed by these brilliant collections. But don’t forget to take a study break to explore the hundreds of culinary treasures just steps away along Central Park West, including Pomodoro Rosso, Jacob’s Pickles and Raku.
