Meganne George Women's Work Short Play Festival 2022

New Perspectives Theatre Company offers its 14h annual showcase for female playwrights, divided into two programs that are performed in rep. This year's edition, titled Endgame<, is devoted to plays that engage with the current social and political landscapes, including the COVID pandemic and the attack on the Capitol. Program A includes Sonya Hayden's Cassie Goes to Congress, Joanna Pickering's The End Game and Allison Merkel's Boys Go to Mars; Program B comprises Gena Bardwell's Just Before Sunrise, Molly Horan's The Reunion and Leela Velautham's Post Scarcity Possibilities. (All six shows are featured in each of the two performances on Saturday, August 13.)
