Musicals in Mufti: Hollywood Pinafore

The York's Musicals in Mufti series, dedicated to stripped-down concert stagings of Broadway rarities, continues with a production of George S. Kaufman's 1945 musical, which reworks the plot and music of Gilbert and Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore into a Tinseltown satire. The cast, directed by Marc Kaufman, includes Claybourne Elder, David Schramm and Mary Stout.
