Time Out says

Literary social group the Desk Set’s annual Biblioball bash wouldn’t be welcome at any library—it’s far too loud. For 2013’s Biblioball: Overdue Romance, the group of philanthropic librarians, archivists and their like-minded friends fills the Bell House stage with performers such as burlesque siren Nasty Canasta (of bookish peep show Naked Girls Reading), and DJs Marty McSorley, Matt Fiveash and others. Prom-style photos will make the event feel like the acne-free school dance you never had. All proceeds go to the nonprofit Literacy for Incarcerated Teens, an education program dedicated to youth behind bars, and the BOOKlyn Shuttle, which promotes reading among north Brooklyn’s young’uns.
