“My boyfriend and I like going to The Smith (1900 Broadway at 63rd St; 212-496-5700, thesmithnyc.com) on the Upper West Side. They just opened [in November]; the food is really good and the atmosphere is great. The black tagliatelle with shrimp is really good.”

“We definitely go to Pravda (281 Lafayette St between E Houston and Prince Sts; 212-226-4944, pravdany.com). It’s a trendy downtown Russian cocktail bar. They have an awesome martini called the Bohemian, with vodka, passion-fruit puree and wildberry juice [$14].”

  4. Anthropologie (50 Rockefeller Plaza between Fifth and Sixth Aves; 212-246-0386, anthropologie.com) is like shopping on a Pinterest board. It’s just an interesting aesthetic experience. The Rockefeller store is unlike anything you’ve ever seen.”

“I go to Riverside Park dog run (Riverside Dr at 72nd St; 212-870-3070, riversideparkfund.org) with my Japanese Chin, Karma. She just turned five last week although she acts like a six-month-old. The Upper West Side is a great neighborhood for dogs; there are lots of others her size.”
