Smithsonian Magazine's Annual Museum Day

In celebration of art and the human spirit—not to mention the Smithsonian's free admission policy—select museums around the country open their doors to the public free of charge today. NYC's list includes such hot spots as the Children's Museum of the Arts, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum. To participate, you'll need a special entry pass (one per household, good for two people), which can be printed from the magazine's website.
