Summerstarz Movie Series: Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) is playing at Transmitter Park tonight, and ya'r best off if you get your booty there! It's one of the few Disney films based on a theme-park ride, which, believe it or not, almost became a direct-to-DVD movie. We're sure glad that didn't happen, because it's hard to imagine anyone but superstar chameleon Johnny Depp playing free-spirited pirate Jack Sparrow. Soulful groove band SisterMonk performs at 6pm. The film starts at sunset.
