Eng Chuan Tong Tan Kongsi

Eng Chuan Tong Tan Kongsi (or Tan Kongsi, for short) is one of the last remaining traditional clan houses in Penang and today, serves as the ancestral temple of the Tan community. Tan Kongsi's elaborated architecture is still evident on the entrance arch, pillars and main prayer hall. A large number of the Tan clan still reside around the Kongsi's vicinity to maintain the upkeep of its compound.
