Fort Cornwallis

Named after the 18th century governorgeneral Charles Cornwallis, the star shaped fort is the largest standing fort in the country. Captain Francis Light built the original fort on this spot in 1786. The site is teeming with history to learn from and experience so this is a definite must for anyone with an interest in history.
