Just a short drive from Penang Botanic Gardens lies a smaller, unassuming place called Garden Ku. This gardening hub is managed and maintained by two Japanese retirees, Mr. Nakano and Mr. Okamoto who also run weekly classes on the art of ceramics and pottery. As this hobby in particular requires steady hands and lots of practice, these teachers are more than happy to throw a group trial lesson upon request. There's also a nursery and gardening shops catering to green thumbs.
