Set within the spatial grounds of Universiti Sains Malaysia, the mosque is situated in Gelugor and built in 1981. Painted in shades of turquoise and white, Masjid Al-Malik Khalid is able to host 3,000 worshippers who frequent the mosque to perform Friday prayers and attend religious sermons.
