Every Sunday, Project Occupy Beach Street will temporarily barricade major streets adjacent to Lebuh Pantai for family-friendly, community activities that the public can be a part of. This is in conjunction to the state government's initiative for Penang Car Free Day, where everyone can utilize the six-hour, traffic-free space for brisk walking, jogging, biking, dancing and social activities - yes, busking is officially legit. Skip the drive to Lebuh Pantai on Sundays and hop on the public bus to these streets:

*On 15 November 2015, KL Book Exchange will make a special appearance at Occupy Beach Street, so trade your unwanted reading material for new reads.

Lebuh Pantai (eco-friendly zone)
Healthy food sampling, car boot sales, recycling station, bicycle station for rent and street market (eco-friendly products and services).

Lebuh Bishop (sport zone):
Street soccer, basketball, zumba, bootcamp, fit club and other sport activities.

Lebuh Gereja (cultural zone)
Live music, street performance, historic building tours and street market.

Gat Lebuh Gereja (play zone)
Children games stall, weekly events (e.g, inflatable, singing, drawing etc.), roller blade.
