Project Occupy Beach Street

Project Occupy Beach Street

Every Sunday, Project Occupy Beach Street will temporarily barricade major streets adjacent to Lebuh Pantai for family-friendly, community activities that the public can be a part of. This is in conjunction to the state government's initiative for Penang Car Free Day, where everyone can utilize the six-hour, traffic-free space for brisk walking, jogging, biking, dancing and social activities - yes, busking is officially legit. Skip the drive to Lebuh Pantai on Sundays and hop on the public bus to these streets:

*On 15 November 2015, KL Book Exchange will make a special appearance at Occupy Beach Street, so trade your unwanted reading material for new reads.
