Snake Festival

As the first day of Chinese lunar calendar approaches with a brand new year, the Snake Festival will return in February. Celebrating the Year of the Snake, the two-day itinerary includes a fire-watching ceremony, snake dances and performances, snake charmers as well as special prayers. The festival also honours the birthday of temple's deity, Cheng Chooi Chor Soo.
