In the past decade, Tapak Pesta was known for its fun fairs and small-scale carnivals that happened regularly in the early 1970s. Located along Jalan Sultan Azlah Shah, the site is mainly used for night markets and the annual event ‘Pesta Pulau Pinang’ held every December.
