The Penang Island Jazz Festival will once again rock Batu Ferringhi with live performances by homegrown and international jazz acts. On the lineup this year are Makiko Hirabayashi Trio featuring Marilyn Mazur on drums/percussion and Klavs Hovman on bass, CaboCubaJazz, Tobias Preisig Quartet, Dos Orientales, Angelika Niescier 'NOW' Trio, Anne Paceo Yokai, Nina & The Butterfly Fish, Near Eats Quartet and The Penang Philharmonic Big Band. Other than live shows, check out workshops, talks and exhibitions happening alongside the festival.
