Nearly a decade after its inception as a quaint tearoom with a humble menu in the Klang Valley, Delicious has finally made its way into Penang, snugged nicely in Straits Quay, with a view of the sea. The interior decor closely mirrors its other outlets, in a modern style that speaks an oriental-meets- Victorian chic. Chef Steve Allen has been working on revamping the menu and there are some choice new offerings. But the limelight has always been on its desserts; the peach frangipane with vanila ice-cream, the tiramisu and the macadamia cheesecake, for instance, have been favourites since the beginning.
