An egg tart is an egg tart... or so we used to think until we had MXT’s version of the pastry. Originally an egg tart business operating from a rickety trishaw, this humble pastry business has garnered a legion of followers since starting up in Kampar in 1979. The wildly popular treats are a must-try while in Penang. Other offerings include the curry chicken bun, char siew bao and salted egg yolk pastry.
