Wheeler's Coffee may come across like a regular coffee joint – albeit with a cool bicycle themed decor and murals – but its rather extensive menu pushes it towards the café category. For a start, there are set breakfasts daily (fry-ups and bagels) and weekday set lunches (mains like pasta, fish and chicken come with lemon tea and a scoop of ice cream). For a la carte mains, choose from grilled salmon, chicken roulade, seafood fajita and seafood carbonara, among others.
The usual coffee offerings are on the menu – from hot espresso-based coffee to iced and ice-blended ones. Their house coffee uses a Brazilian Mandheling blend. For non-coffee drinkers, you won’t feel left out; you'll also find tea, hot chocolate (try the hot Nutella chocolate), smoothies and even beers and ciders.
There's an upstairs space as well, which opens later in the afternoon, complete with dart machines.
