Time Out says

This sprawling wet market is crowded with a variety of stalls that entices passersby with fresh produce. Prepacked nasi lemak, char kuay kak and Hakka noodles make it easy to plan breakfast on the go.

On Tuesday nights, the market extends its hours and transforms into a bustling night bazaar filled with even more stalls. Bring small change and come hungry to sample a variety of snacks such as ban chang kuih (crispy pancakes), nutmeg juice and satay skewers.

As featured in Time Out Penang's 50 things to do in Penang.

Address: Jalan Sungai Kelian
Opening hours: Daily, 9am-12noon (day market); Every Tue, 7pm-11pm (night bazaar)
