A nationwide French themed festival, French Art and Film Festival 2014 returns with new programmes catering to fans of the French art and entertainment scene. Kicking off the festival will be screenings of 12 French films at GSC Gurney Plaza. Movie lovers can expect a myriad of movie genres ranging from drama comedy Mood Indigo to drama thriller The Pastto comedy romance Fly Me To The Moon and animation Prince and Princesses. All the French movies screened are with English subtitiles, of course.
Also from France, world hip hop dance champion group Pockemon Crew will be there to mesmerise you with an energetic hip hop performance on their first visit to Malaysia. Also joining them are local hip hop group, The Wakaka Crew, who have won various local dance competitions and are known for their freestyle movement.
If that isn't enough to satisfy your love of French culture, look out for a photo exhibition of the Cannes Film Festival, a classical guitar recital by Gabriel Bianco, a French market where you can find authentic French creations and food by local-based French chefs at La Vie En Rose and Cuisine Gourmet by Nathalie.
