George Town Festival: A+SEAN SHOWCASE

A two-day event held at the historical Esplanade featuring music, art, puppetry, food and a lifestyle market. Highlights include music from artistes from the Asean region including OAG, Dasha Logan, Sheila Majid, Nidji and Joe Flizzow among others. The experience is further elevated with the Snuff Puppets, which will smash all notions you ever had about puppetry, and the Strandbeests – outrageous PVC sculptures by Dutch artist, Theo Jansen, who is showing them for the first time in Southeast Asia.
