Pearls for the Picking

Inspired by real life stories stemmed from the streets of George Town, 'Pearls for the Picking' is a collection of three stories told in a single performance. Homegrown performers Ho Sheau Fung, Nur Hilyati Ramli and Lim Sheh Torng themselves ventured to the field to interview everyday Penangites on whom the stories are based. One includes a mother who depends on the kindness of others to raise her seven kids while her husband is in jail for drug abuse.
