Penang Dragon Boat Festival

Very much a part of Penang’s cultural heritage, this annual boat race has been running for over 30 years. Teams from all over the world race in intricately designed dragon boats and paddle to the steady beat of the drum. It’s free entry, so head over to the Teluk Bahang dam, check out the festival atmosphere (there will be games and food) and support your favourite team.
