April 1 - May 14
Tuesday-Wednesday and Friday-Sunday 11am-6pm, or Thursday 11am-9pm.
Members are invited to the Eduardo Paolozzi retrospective at the Whitechapel Gallery for free, anytime throughout the exhibition.
Paolozzi was one of the most innovative and irreverent artists of the twentieth century. Considered the ‘Godfather of Pop Art’, his collages, sculptures and prints challenged artistic convention. This major retrospective looks at his works, from the 1950s through the swinging ’60s to the advent of ‘Cool Britannia’ in the 1990s.
