Nothing quite says luxury like a hot bath fueled by soothing spa jets. And when said bath is just steps away from your cozy hotel bed, it’s the ultimate form of vacation. After a day well spent touring the city’s greatest attractions (and trust us, there are plenty) or a late-night dinner at one of the best restaurants in San Francisco, dipping your toes into a whirlpool Jacuzzi or soaking tub is a well-deserved respite from the buzzy metropolis. Whether you’re looking for a tricked-out standard hotel room or a honeymoon-worthy suite, here are the best San Francisco hotels with Jacuzzis and soaking tubs in the room.

The Marker

Guests will have to reserve a suite if they want to relax in a Jacuzzi tub in this colorful, Beaux Arts-style hotel. The Junior Suite is 525 sq. ft. and features a king-size bed and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. In the bathroom, there’s a five-foot Jacuzzi tub and shower. If that’s not big enough, opt for the Signature One Bedroom Spa Suite, which is 625 sq. ft. with a six-foot Jacuzzi tub and shower. There are also luxury bath amenities from Jonathan Adler in all the rooms.

All of the suites at this nautical-themed boutique hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf offer gorgeous views of the city or the SF Bay, two bedrooms, separate living room and dining areas, and oversized bathrooms with a glass-enclosed shower and a separate spa tub tucked away in an alcove below the window—so guests don’t have to choose between soaking in the tub and soaking in the views.

Every room and suite in this luxury hotel has deep, oversized soaking tubs, frosted glass-enclosed stone showers with rainfall showerheads, and a 13-inch LCD television in the bathroom. But only the Metropolitan Suites have soaking tubs that are extra-deep and extra-long, and only the St. Regis Suite and Presidential Suite feature enormous limestone bathrooms with a bathtub that is extra-deep, extra-long and jetted.

There are deep soaking tubs in the Palace Suites and the Specialty Suites at this landmark historic hotel in downtown San Francisco, but those who want a marble bathroom with a jetted spa bathtub will need to reserve the Presidential Suite. Luckily, any guest can take advantage of the heated indoor pool and whirlpool that sit beneath a glass ceiling with skyline views.
