Sumi is an art form involving painting with ink that originated in China and was later adapted by the Japanese. The first part of the exhibition showcasds abstract works by three established artists including Zhao Hao from China and Kukoku Tamura and Toko Shinoda from Japan. This second installment focuses on emerging artists who adopt more unconventional and colourful approaches.
