Familiar yourself with the colourful masterpieces of I Wayan Piki Suyersa at Hatch Art Project as the gallery hosts the Indonesian artist's – who's also Japfa’s Artists of the Year – first solo exhibition in Singapore. Titled Man of Earth, the exhibition showcases several paintings, as well as a monumental, wall-sized painting and a fibreglass installation known as Flowing, that explore the painter's intimate relationship with land and yearning for transcendent states of being.
Supported by Singapore-based industrial agri-food company Japfa Comfeed International Pte Ltd, the exhibition also doubles as an educational destination that
brings benefits to the community. All proceeds from artwork sales during the exhibition will be donated to the Japfa Foundation, and the proceeds from the sales of art displayed at Hatch Art Project will go towards the Japfa for Kids programme that has benefited over 85,000 rural children in Indonesia.
