Grey Projects joins 12 local art institutions and independent art galleries for the new art initiative, Proposals for Novel Ways of Being. The non-profit art space showcases five programmes that explore the infrastructures of care in these strange and difficult times.
It kicks off with Strange Bodies from now until October 15, spotlighting artworks by local artist Yang Zhongda and Sabah native Jerome Kugan which shows chimeric figurations of the human body that crosses and unfixes the human/non-human divisions. Other highlights include a penpal programme with elderly and schoolchildren in Tiong Bahru and Bukit Merah, and a mutual assistance programme.
