Supper Club

In conjunction with Singapore Art Week 2019, Yavuz Gallery is pleased to present London-based Singaporean artist Alvin Ong’s first solo exhibition. Ong’s works often synthesise histories, mythologies and folk-forms into non-linear narratives. This exhibition features Ong’s latest paintings – the erotic depictions of figures suspended between pain and pleasure. To Ong, the human body is unapologetically exposed in its cravings. He depicts the human appetite through grotesque elements with black humour.
