Clarke Quay’s newest spot for a night of live Mandopop and K-pop music looks like a very crowded German beer hall – even when there’s only five of you in the room – but if you want privacy there are two suites outfitted with pool tables and karaoke machines that can each hold up to 50 people. The main stage with a giant LED wall is where everything happens: newly formed four-piece band Ammuntion backs up five resident singers while a cast of Asian show dancers performs slick routines in the background. In between, two Thai DJs play Thai, English and Japanese dance tunes.
