Fourth Wall: Duets weaves classical ballet with contemporary dance, digital painting and enthralling narrative threads into a celebration of French and Singaporean culture. Set in Miaja gallery, the programme features three intertwined duet performances complemented by free-flowing French wines.
The show encompasses award-winning VR interactive experience The Unfinished, with a duet ballet performance revolving around the love story of French sculptors Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel. Inspired by them, Singaporean contemporary choreographers Edwin Wee and Rachel Lum will perform a duet that reimagines the narrative on stage. The night is then rounded off with the third performance staged by visual and digital artists Andrée Weschler and Zenith Chan, who will embed art and technology into a unique oneiric texture.
