The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore celebrates Chinese New Year with a series of lunch and dinner promos, and take-away goodies from Summer Pavilion and Colony.
Chef Cheung Siu Kong at Summer Pavilion recreates traditional dishes with a twist, such as yu sheng with chilled sea whelk to be tossed with the delicate crunch of salmon caviar ($138, 4-6 people/$276, 8-10 people). There’s also the luxurious and decadent pen cai that's made with the 12 delicacies: abalone, fish maw, prickly sea cucumber, sea perch, roasted pork, roasted duck, goose webs, Chinese mushrooms, conpoy, black moss, scallops and seasonal vegetables ($380, 4-6 people/$760, 8-10 people).
For four days, Colony turns to heritage dishes. Expect to tuck into traditional yu sheng, roasted duck, and hand-pulled noodles in lobster broth. Diners will receive red packets and oranges from February 7 to 9. See 'Dates and Times' for more details.
