Time Out says

This Lunar New Year, a festive feast awaits at Lime Restaurant. From traditional must-haves like an eight treasure braised chicken to fresh seafood like half-shell scallops, this sprawling spread is sure to please any rumbling stomachs. Here, find delectable dishes like deep-fried king prawns, steamed black mussels, and a Shanghainese braised pork belly.

You’ll also get a taste of the modern restaurant’s signatures, which include chilli crab concasse and a herb butter-crusted Angus beef. And of course, the crowd favourite lobster laksa with generous chunks of lobster and spiced broth. Executive Chef Alvin Leong also shares his fondness for Peranakan cuisine, with dishes like itek sio (braised duck), babi pongteh (braised pork), and a spicy crab kueh pie tee.

Make sure you end your meal on a sweet note with desserts like pan-fried tang yuan (glutinous rice balls) and a mandarin orange chocolate cake – and an auspicious note at that, as these treats symbolise family unity and good fortune.

Gather your friends and family for a heartwarming reunion meal on February 9, 10 or 11, to toss Lime Restaurant’s Prosperity Salmon Yu Sheng together for good luck. You’ll be tucking into seconds with fresh oysters, snow crab, and slow roasted Wagyu beef. Even a whole flambéed roast pig makes an appearance.

From January 16 to February 29, head down for a weekday lunch, weekend brunch, or a reunion dinner out with the folks. Lime Restaurant’s festive goodies are also available for takeaway from January 22 to February 24, with the likes of an Imperial Lobster Reunion Pen Cai ($428) and a Prosperity Yu Sheng (from $78). They also offer a five-course set (from $418), suitable for home gatherings.
