While it might not sound familiar to most just yet, it won’t be long before Backstage becomes a household name. A reasonably priced accessories brand that started out at the famous Sri Lankan department store Odel, it recently set up shop at Iluma Shopping Centre. Look out for two jewellery collections in particular: the ‘Boho Forest’ – carved wooden bangles, oversized cocktail rings and an oh-so-quirky owl filigree; and the ‘Aztec’ collection – antique gold with black enamel pieces, beaten metal rings, and metal armbands à la Cleopatra.
