For eco-conscious shoppers or if you are taking steps to live sustainably, you’re in for a real treat this weekend. Organised by sustainable lifestyle brand Pass It On is holding an immersive shopping experience called Green-House, and it brings together “green” home and lifestyle brands together to consumers.
Held in Figment Embassy House in Geylang, the first-of-its-kind event encourages you to discover local businesses that prioritise sustainability and creating a social impact. Walk through the communal spaces of the shophouse and check out the art-filled rooms decked with eco-friendly wares.
There are workshops for you that take part in: how to upcycle and mend useful items, incorporating mindful living practices with influencer Bella Koh of Slowhouse and a book-binding workshop spearheaded by Offcut by Allegro Print.
Shoppers are also encouraged to make cashless payments at the site. Pass It On hopes the event will leave a lasting impression on shoppers and hope they will consume consciously in the long run.
