This event – which aims to raise awareness of the water crisis worldwide and help reduce environmental impact caused by the fashion industry – features Aveda's spring/summer 2013 colours and looks as interpreted by hair artists Ian Michael Black and Ricardo Dinis, alongside other prominent local hairstylists, as well as upcycled fashion that first made their debut on New York's runways. Aveda's 'Light The Way' candle ($35) is on sale at all of their salons, spas and experience centres from 21 Mar; all proceeds go to the Global Greengrants Fund.
