Celebrate Songkran

Songkran, which literally means ‘astrological passage’ in Thai, marks the New Year in Thailand. It’s a chance for everyone to splash water on each other in the streets as a fun cleansing ritual. For those of you who want to experience the joys of the Water Festival without leaving the country, head to Celebrate Songkran at The Padang on 12 & 13 Apr, where you’ll get to experience plenty of Thai activities. Oh, and expect to get utterly soaked by the end of the day, so make sure you dress accordingly.
