Before you catch the National Museum of Singapore's new exhibition Home, Truly: Growing up with Singapore, 1950s to the Present, which is set to open later this year, have a taster with its online prelude and companion: @ Home, Truly: A Digital Experience. The digital experience digs further into Singapore's early years of nation-building, unearthing what seems like ordinary yet historic moments from then to today, through the various conversations between a curious nine-year-old, and her beloved Gong Gong (grandfather in Mandarin). Each conversation is brought to life with illustrations by different artists and presented as a chapter exploring an aspect of the historic moment.
The digital experience also features an interactive chatbot named Chatbird that presents engaging games and quizzes, allowing you to explore the themes of @ Home, Truly even further.
