Singapore's most refreshing run makes its debut

The largest event of its kind in the city, the inaugural Run for Beer 2017 invites you and your beer buddies for the perfect gathering to, well, run for beer!

Kicking off at Clarke Quay's Fountain Square, participants can run, crawl, roll or moonwalk their way through a breezy non-competitive 3.2km route which will take them along the Singapore River, showcasing some of the city's most iconic landmarks such as the Raffles Landing Site, Boat Quay and Cavenagh Bridge. The route’s finish line will bring runners back to Clarke Quay where everyone can enjoy that great social unifier – the liquid gold that's beer.

On top of enjoying a tasty brew or two at the finish line, runners can expect exclusive food and beverage discounts at various merchant partners. At the Fountain Square, there will also be a host of post-run fringe activities including live music, stage games and more. Come dressed up for your chance to win some amazing prizes in the fancy dress competitions with categories such as best dressed king, queen, organisation and team and big bosses.

All participants will receive a specially-designed event tee, finisher’s medal and exclusive promotions from participating Clarke Quay outlets as well as complimentary cold ones – as long as you complete the route.

Registration is open now here. If you sign up in groups of four or more, you'll enjoy further discounted rates for what's shaping up to be the most fun you'll have exercising all year. Time Out Singapore readers, you get an additional 10 percent off when you use exclusive promo code “TORFB10” (valid till Sep 26).
