Showcase of Top 25 Short Films from Cathay Motion Picture 2012 Awards

To celebrate their 77th anniversary, the Cathay Organisation launched the inaugural Cathay Motion Picture Awards last year to provide budding filmmakers in the city an opportunity to show off their skills. The theme was ‘celebrate’ and the each film had to be 77-seconds long; participants had 77 hours to create the films and the final judging was done by 7 judges. The top 25 entries – out of a total of 49 submitted – are now on display.
