Somerset Film Snaps

Shutterbugs, this one’s for you. Somerset Film Snaps will be showcasing photographs shot by local photographs at *SCAPE. The event aims to encourage more youths to share photos and to, of course, interest them in film photography. Expect medium format photographs featuring scenes of the Somerset Belt. Other activities include a camera and print market and photography walks and workshops. The photography walks will take young photographers along a guided trail with experts in their chosen mediums. Youths can also learn about film photography at Instant Conversation sessions with local photographers Charles Yee, Samantha, and Coby Travis of The Film Initiative. Local film labs, camera shops and vintage stores like FILEM and Retroanalogue will be at the market at *SCAPE atrium. Stand a chance to win prizes like disposable cameras and a Polaroid Now when you join in the lucky dip at the event.
