While Spain’s national day officially falls on October 12, My Little Spanish Place is kicking off proceedings early by hosting a weekend long tapas fiesta to commemorate Spain’s independence. Head Chef Edward Esmero and Maria Sevillano will be providing guests with a special tapas buffet, featuring items such as meatballs in sauce and toasted bread topped with Jamon Serrano and melon. Those who come dressed in either Spain’s national colours (red and yellow) or traditional Spanish costumes will receive a free beer, and there will be ‘buy two get one free’ drink promotions for all beers, sangria and wines. Guitar maestro Carlos Sendra will also be on board to entertain guests at dinner between 6.30-10.30pm.
